Volunteer Duties
Event Planning & Operations
+ Serve as a Point of Contact for all UGA Food Science Club initiatives in the Athens-Clarke County community.
+ Plan events and initiatives that benefits high school students and local community organizations
+ Coordinate monthly community service projects for club members
+ Maintain contact with employees, community members, or clients that need follow-up for any community initiatives.
Marketing & Fundraising Activities
+ Create presentations and marketing materials in support of community events and initiatives
+ Develop and manage fundraising initiatives and community donations in support of UGA's Food Science Club
+ Develop ways to increase public awareness of UGA Food Science Club's activities and garner support for our initiatives

About UGA Food Science Club
The purpose of the Food Science Club is to connect faculty and students in an interactive environment to learn more about the food industry. This is done through organized student activities designed to enhance knowledge of food science, expose students to leadership roles and meet professionals employed in their fields of study.
