Volunteer Duties
Content Creation:
+ Assist with development of creative concepts and marketing strategies for promoting the Food Science Club's events and initiatives
+ Develop content for promotional materials including electronic newsletters, the web site, social media and "The Foodie" (our blog)
Content Management & Planning
+ Help update social media (youtube and instagram)
+ Manage and edit photo and video content
+ Help create and implement the communications calendar
Community Management
+ Foster relationships with other UGA Ag student organizations and help draft press releases for cross-promotion
+ Community management of online and offline supporters

About UGA Food Science Club
The purpose of the Food Science Club is to connect faculty and students in an interactive environment to learn more about the food industry. This is done through organized student activities designed to enhance knowledge of food science, expose students to leadership roles and meet professionals employed in their fields of study.
